The design of new rheology additives is driven by the growing trends of the automotive & industrial, furniture & flooring or architectural coatings, and construction industries. This anticipation of requirements led Coatex to develop new solutions that will be highlighted during the ECS, at the conference or at the show.
The development of smart paints with special effects e.g. self-healing, anti-insects is the core focus of the scientific conference about the encapsulation process that will be presented by Benoit Magny, Coatex R&D Director.
The economical concerns with lower raw materials and manufacturing costs or faster and easier application; the technical and performance improvements with longer durability, low dirt pick-up, water resistance have been the key drivers of our last developments:
• The new very pseudoplastic PU thickener, Coapur™ XS 83 especially designed for challenging industrial coatings
• The extension of our Coadis™ range, specialty dispersing agents to provide specific properties.
