Chromaflo Technologies to Release new Chroma-Chem FLV Series for tinting epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic coatings

Chromaflo Technologies, the premier global provider of colorant technology solutions, is pleased to announce the release of the FLV Series – the next generation in colorants for tinting epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic coatings.

“We’re very excited to offer this next generation series to our customers,” said Michael McCormick, Global Industry Manager – Industrial Coatings. “The technological development and commercialization of the FLV Series is a major step forward in supplying a high-performing colorant line for solvent-free epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic coatings.  The color and viscosity stability is superior to other colorant systems currently available for these types of coatings.  Whether the coating is for concrete protective, industrial maintenance, or an OEM application, the FLV Series is the perfect fit.”

The FLV Series is based on a sustainable binder that is reactive in epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic coatings.  This binder has shown to improve coating properties such as early hardness as well as chemical and physical resistance properties. Also, these colorants do not have the typical problems associated with epoxy-based colorants such as yellowing and viscosity increase. Finally, the rheological profile of these colorants is designed so they are machine dispensable.  Therefore, the coatings manufacture can use the FLV Series to tint in-plant and at their tinting centers.
