“MORTARA ITALY PHOTOINITIATOR PRODUCTION TO CONTINUE FOLLOWING MARCH 21st ANNOUNCEMENT IN ITALY TO CONTAIN THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS
On Saturday March 21st, 2020 the Italian Prime Minster Giuseppe Conte announced that all Italian businesses must close until April 3, with the exception of those essential to maintaining the country’s supply chain, in the latest effort to halt the coronavirus epidemic. As the details of the associated decree have become clear, we can confirm to our customers that the production of photoinitiators at IGM’s Mortara facility is not affected by this latest move.
The Mortara facility has adopted working practices to ensure the health and safety of all employees and the site is, as a minimum, strictly following government guidelines and recommendations for a safe work environment. Our priority is, and will continue to be, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone working at an IGM facility, globally.
We continue to actively monitor the ongoing situation and give our assurance to our customers of our commitment and capability to continue to deliver the products vital to your business.”
