The 2-component RTV-2 system is mixed 1:1. Proper mixing of the two components followed by degassing is essential. Application of the coating to a PU film in various thicknesses. Curing starts at room temperature, but can be accelerated by heat (e.g. 120 °C). The release liner is applied to the cured coating. The release liner can easily be removed from the adhesive coating at any time. It can now be used as an (adhesive) tape for sensitive applications or can be converted into various wound dressings.
