BRB International BV has launched a solvent-free defoamer, Polyether Siloxane , for waterborne formulations. BRB Siloen DA 291 is a solvent-free highly effective defoamer and deaerator compound based on polyether siloxane technology and hydrophobic solids.

BRB Siloen DA 291 is particularly suitable against micro-foams in waterborne formulation, partially in radiation curable formulation. It is also suitable for wood coating, industrial coating, printing inks as well as protective coatings.

BRB Siloen DA 291 is designed to be used specifically in the grind stage. Because of its highly incompatibility, it needs to be incorporated under high shear force to ensure a good distribution.
