Solventborne resins are widely used in the wood furniture and kitchen cabinet markets, however, waterborne technologies have made significant advancements. Even with these advancements,  waterborne systems can struggle in pigmented or low gloss systems where stain resistance is needed.

allnex chemists have addressed these issues and developed a 1K self-crosslinking waterborne acrylic emulsion for furniture and kitchen cabinetry – SETAQUA® 6753. This exciting new product allows formulators to achieve KCMA and  IKEA R2 performance in a one component system without compromise.

• Excellent stain resistance including coffee, wine, and mustard
