Researchers prepared polyurethane-based microcapsules filled with bulky isophorone diisocyanate, IPDI via interfacial polymerization method in an oil-in-water emulsion and then investigated mechanical properties and self-healing ability of microcapsule-embedded polyurethane, PU, coating.
